What tracking reference should I ask Careem Pay for?+
Ask Careem Pay support for the UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) if the payout used Indian domestic rails (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS), or the UETR/SWIFT reference if they routed via SWIFT. The trace pack includes the exact wording to request this.
Careem Pay says "Completed" but my bank hasn't received anything.+
"Completed" in the Careem Pay app typically means the sender-side processing is done. Funds may still be in transit via LuLu Exchange (the payout partner), held for compliance checks, or queued at the beneficiary bank. The trace pack explains what to do at each stage.
When should I escalate a stuck Careem Pay transfer?+
If it’s been 48+ hours since you opened a ticket with Careem Pay and they haven’t provided a UTR or confirmation of credit, follow the escalation ladder: Careem Pay support → LuLu Exchange (payout partner) → Sanadak (UAE financial ombudsman).
What if Careem Pay says the transfer was sent via LuLu Exchange but LuLu has no record?+
